Minister Stefanović receives Kovačević
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, received today Dejan Kovačević, a citizen of Novi Sad who was born without both arms and left leg and was abandoned by his parents as a child. Kovačević has asked Minister Stefanović and the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces to provide support for a charity concert for sick children that he is planning to organize in Belgrade.
“Dejan is a person who is worthy of genuine admiration. He is a man of heroic strength, full of life and positive energy and a real fighter. Regardless of all the hardships that he has suffered in life, he fights for other people today. Of course, we will give him a wholehearted support in organizing a concert for sick children. Also, I would like to invite all the people in Serbia to unite and help him put his idea into action”, said Minister Stefanović.
