President Vučić: I am satisfied with the Serbian Armed Forces equipment procurement
After the demonstration of capabilities of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić said that he was satisfied with the procurement of Russia’s Cornet anti-tank missile system.
Wishing the members of the Serbian Armed Forces a Happy New Year, the President thanked all of them for protecting our homeland and taking care of our security. - Today, I am particularly satisfied with the fact that they are happy about the procurement of Russia’s Cornet missile systems; it is one of the best, if not the best, anti-tank weapon in the world. I am happy that Serbia was able to purchase a large number of missiles and missile launchers and thus improve the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces – President Vučić emphasized.
According to him, it is an important defensive weapon.- Such a weapon is an important deterrence against any potential threat to our country – President Vučić pointed out at Pančevo’s “Rastko Nemanjić” barracks.
