Fourth Army Brigade in cold weather training
Over the last two weeks, members of the Fourth Army Brigade’s reconnaissance units have been conducting regular cold weather training.
During the training on the slopes of the Kopaonik Mountain, the scouts have been doing tactical, physical and reconnaissance training in difficult microclimatic conditions.
Orientation and movement on unfamiliar, snow-covered terrain, construction of shelters, camouflaging, ambush and martial arts, are just some of the things that members of the reconnaissance units have been instructed in.The reconnaissance units’ training is a continuous and demanding process carried out throughout the year in all weather conditions and on all types of terrain. The soldiers rehearse a range of real-life scenarios in the depth of the enemy dispositions, in order to maintain and improve skills necessary for performing specific tasks.
