Meeting of Minister Stefanović with Minister Soylu
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, talked to Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkey Süleyman Soylu.
Ministers Stefanović and Soylu pointed out that, through their personal efforts, the two presidents Aleksandar Vučić and Recep Tayyip Erdogan had established a new path of cooperation between the two countries in order to ensure as good as possible life for the both peoples.
It was stated at the meeting that Turkey, as one of the most important foreign trade partners of our country, is ready to continue working with Serbia on further economic strengthening, influx of investments and the overall development of our region. On that occasion Minister Stefanović expressed his gratitude to Minister Soylu, as a friend of Serbia, on his personal efforts to assist the strengthening the relations between the two countries.
The two ministers agreed that Serbia and Turkey would remain dedicated to regional stability, and that they would continue joint fight against terrorism and irregular migration.
Stefanović and Soylu jointly stated that the two governments would continue following the solid path of cooperation, paved by Presidents Vučić and Erdogan, and to continue giving contribution to all ministries in order to provide as good as possible conditions and quality of life for the citizens of Serbia and Turkey.
