Minister Stefanović Visited Company “Pneumo-Logic“
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD visited the company “Pneumo-Logic” which produces systems for air-conditioning and heating of combat vehicles produced by Serbian defence industry.
After touring the production plant, Minister Stefanović expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the national industry, on which our armed forces rely, is making ever greater progress, and invests and modernises itself, having capacities to support the production of military vehicles and other assets.
- Today, in the company “Pneumo-Logic”, I had an opportunity to see first-hand how much these hardworking people are capable of assisting the production of our vehicles “Lazar” and “Miloš” and CAVs and other vehicles, and how reliable their heating and cooling systems can be, and how efficient and of course acceptable in terms of their price they are for our armed forces – the minister said.
He assessed that it was good thing that we more and more relied on the components produced in our country.
- In that way, of course, we save money and invest in our production and support national companies, such as “Pneumo-Logic”, which employs some 40 workers, and has been running its business for many years now here in Srem, which had to prove itself with its quality to be selected to install its components in our state-of-the-art combat transporters. I am also glad to see that these people invest both in production and quality and that even today they are able to compete with much more significant and larger producers of Europe and the world – Stefanović pointed out.
Minister commended the people from the Ministry of Defence and “Jugoimport” SDPR who had made effort to make the public-private partnership one of the levers of our growth.
- In that way, we rely more and more on national companies which will be able to support our defence industry and our armed forces in general, so that the production of vehicles, artillery weapons and everything that we design and produce today can be something that we are proud of and something that could bring profit to our country and better life – Stefanović underlined.
Company “Pneumo-Logic” successfully cooperates with the Military Technical Institute of the Ministry of Defence and company “Jugoimport” SDPR. The systems for air-conditioning and heating produced by this company are installed in combat armoured vehicles such as COV, COV CRV, command-armoured transporter CAT, armoured transporters “Lazar” and “Miloš”, missile system ALAS, artillery system NORA, as well as recently presented combat vehicle “Lazanski”.
