Training of Members of Reserve in Serbian Armed Forces Units
Several-day long training is being conducted in the Army and Training Command units for members of reserve component of the Serbian Armed Forces in different military specialities.
Almost 300 members of the reserve of infantry, artillery and logistic specialists are being trained for quality and autonomous execution of assigned tasks within their branches and services.
In the Army units, members of the reserve component are being trained for the combat use of self-propelled multibarrel missile launchers 128mm M-77 “Oganj” and they are practicing tactical activities and procedures done by the crew of this modernised artillery system.
At the same time, the units of the Training Command are conducting the training of reserve component of logistic specialities, who are revising their knowledge through practical work on the jobs within the domain of logistics, primarily on reconservation and repair of motor vehicles, medical care and food preparation.
Besides the training of logistic personnel, the training is being conducted for reserve commanding component of one brigade and three infantry battalions, during which they are practicing the staff work in decision making process for the organisation and conduct of military operation.
The aim of this planned training is first of for the members of reserve component to revise the knowledge they gained during their military service, and familiarise themselves with modern principles of the employment of units and be trained for the work with the assets that are now organic weapon of the Serbian Armed Forces.
