"Stanislav Binički" Ensemble and Slovak Military Orchestra give joint concert
Tonight, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and the Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic Jaroslav Nad’ attended a joint concert given by the MOD “Stanislav Binički” Artistic Ensemble and the Slovak Armed Forces Orchestra.
The concert was held in the Central Military Club’s assembly hall in Belgrade, as part of the Slovak Culture Day.
The program included both countries’ traditional and national compositions, as well as popular film music. The orchestra was conducted by Katarina Božić and Captain Jan Goliáš.
The audience was enthralled by both orchestras’ repertoires, and the most impressive part of the program was the joint performance of the songs “Tamo daleko” and “Tancuj, tancuj”.
On the occasion of the Slovak Culture Day, members of the "Stanislav Binički" Artistic Ensemble presented a Plaque to their colleagues, members of the Slovak Armed Forces Orchestra, and the Slovak musicians also surprised their Serbian counterparts with a Plague, in memory of the joint performance.
