Military volunteers at training camp
A stationary camp for the Class of June 2021 Volunteers is underway at the "Pasuljanske livade" military complex. The soldiers are doing infantry and artillery training.
During the camp, soldiers are trained in field setting for the combat use of infantry and artillery weapons and equipment. They are practising tactical actions and procedures in defence and attack and their hands-on performance is being checked. All the shooting practices included in the training program are also being conducted.
Soldiers serving in the artillery training battery have already conducted the firing practice and fire for record using the 122 mm 2S1 self-propelled “Gvozdika” howitzer, while the infantry soldiers - the 82 mm M69 mortar crews, have been practising the combat use of this weapon and preparing for the range firing that awaits them later on in the camp.
When they return from the camp, they will undergo the final part of the individual specialist training, followed by evaluation to assess the soldiers’ competence to perform specific tasks.
