Promotion of voluntary military service in Vršac
Vršac is one of the five cities where the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are doing a promotion of voluntary military service.
On Saturday, interested young men and women had the opportunity to get information about voluntary military service under arms at the stand set up by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on the city square in Vršac. Those interested in performing voluntary military service under arms could fill out the application form on the spot.Representatives of the Defence Obligations Department, the Novi Sad Regional Centre and Pančevo Centre and the Serbian Armed Forces distributed leaflets to interested young people, introduced them to weapons and military equipment and informed them about the benefits of performing voluntary military service and the possibility of getting employment with the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces afterwards, reminding them that the competition for voluntary military service was constantly open.
The promotion of voluntary military service was organized as part of the Vršac Sports Summer and it attracted a lot of young people who carefully looked at the displayed weapons and military equipment, talked to members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and read the brochures to get information about the benefits and importance of voluntary military service.
