Minister Stefanović lays wreaths at the Unknown Soldier Memorial and at the tomb of Egyptian President Sadat
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has laid wreaths today at the Unknown Soldier Memorial and at the tomb of the former Egyptian President Anwar el Sadat in Cairo.
After being saluted by the elite Egyptian Guard and the Serbian and Egyptian national anthems were played, Minister Stefanović, accompanied by the Commander of the Central Military Region, Major General Khalid Ahmed, paid tribute in front of the national and historical monuments of the Arab Republic of Egypt.Minister Stefanović has also visited the “6th of October Panorama” Memorial in Cairo today, where he was hosted by Major General Khaled Labib, Chief of Military Research.
