Captain I Class Nevena Jovanović wins 34th Belgrade Marathon
Captain I Class Nevena Jovanović, member of the Special Purpose Military Police Detachment "Cobras" took first place in the women's race at the 34th Belgrade Marathon.
She ran the 42-kilometer course in 3 hours 12 minutes and 27 seconds.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, congratulated Nevena on winning first place.
"Nevena Jovanović, a member of ‘Cobras’, is the winner of the women's race at the 34th Belgrade Marathon. Great success, the result of great work, well done Nevena!" Minister Stefanović wrote on his Facebook account.
Thanks to her exceptional results on medium and long distances this year, Jovanović ranked herself as a favourite at the most massive sports event in Serbia, which was confirmed by her result today.
