Representatives of French Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence visit Defence University
A group of 35 students who attend the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence (L'Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale), which operates within the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, visited the Defence University in Belgrade today. They were welcomed by the Rector of the Defence University, Lieutenant General Goran Radovanović, Assoc.Prof., Commandant of the Military Academy, Major General Bojan Zrnić, PhD, and Head of the National Defence School, Colonel Mićo Suvajac. The French delegation was led by the Institute Director, Lieutenant General Patrick Destremau.
The French delegation was addressed by the Rector, Lieutenant General Radovanović, who acquainted them with the functioning and structure of Belgrade’s Defence University, and presented to them the most important characteristics, capacities and capabilities of this higher education military institution.
This was followed by a tour of the National Defence School and the Military Academy’s Sports Centre and memorial room, where, in addition to presenting the history of our military education, the long-term friendship between France and Serbia was highlighted.
