Minister Stefanović visits Military Hospital in Niš: We will beat coronavirus if we are disciplined and responsible
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, called on the citizens of Serbia today to be disciplined and to get vaccinated against Covid-19, reminding them that this was the only way to develop immunity and prevent the spread of this vicious disease.

Stefanović expressed concern about the Military Hospital in Niš being near full capacity in such a short time.
– I am extremely grateful to the doctors and the entire hospital staff for not giving up. They take care of patients, fight for them and show how serious and responsible they are. Thanks to President Vučić and the Serbian Government, we have a sufficient number of vaccines today and more than a million citizens have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. I call on the citizens of Serbia once again to take the opportunity and get vaccinated and thus protect not only themselves, but also their family members and their close friends. I am convinced that we can beat this vicious disease if we are disciplined, responsible and serious - said Minister Stefanović.
Minister Stefanović met with the Đenić family. Four members of this family are doctors who have been engaged in the fight against Covid since the beginning of the pandemic.

Colonel Nebojša Đenić, MD, Head of the Surgical Specialties Sector at the Military Hospital Niš, his wife Dr Vesna Đenić, Head of the Infectious Diseases Department, son Dr Darko Đenić, general practitioner at the Military Hospital and daughter Dr Saša Đenić, who is completing her residency at the Clinical Centre of Niš, have been working in the military and civilian Covid hospitals since the beginning of the pandemic.
