New medals and national record for members of Military Academy’s Shooting Club "Akademac"



Military Grammar School and Secondary Vocational Military School students, members of the Military Academy's Shooting Club “Akademac“, have once again achieved excellent scores at the Serbian Cadet and Younger Junior Championship in Smederevo, claiming two team championship titles, one team runner-up title, and an individual silver medal.

In the air pistol cadet event, Secondary Vocational Military School students Luka Milošević, Aleksa Stojković and Nikola Veljković won the national 2021 championship title setting a new national record with the score of 1,582 points, thereby breaking the previous record held by the “Kolubara” Shooting Club from Lazarevac since 2015. Luka Milošević, a Secondary Vocational Military School student, won a silver medal in the individual event.
  The team competing for the Military Academy’s Shooting Club "Akademac" consisting of Luka Milošević, a Military Grammar School student, and Aleksa Stojković, a Secondary Vocational Military School student, also triumphed in the younger junior event, thereby winning the national 2021 title.  
 
In the air pistol women junior event, the team consisting of the Military Grammar School students Jovana Radovanović and Helena Miščević and a Secondary Vocational Military School student, Jovana Milošević, were just a step away from winning the championship title. They took second place, with the score of 1,051 points, lagging only two rings behind the younger juniors competing for the "Novi Sad 1790" Shooting Club who won first place.
 
The Serbian Cadet and Younger Junior Championship has been the largest competition in the history of the Serbian shooting sport so far, where 258 shooters from 40 Serbian clubs competed in two days.
