Minister Stefanović visits “Kosmos“ Company in Banja Luka
During his two-day visit to Republika Srpska, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited the radar, rocket and computer systems overhaul company “Kosmos” in Banja Luka today.
Minister of Defence met with the management of “Kosmos” and the delegation representing Republika Srpska’s Ministry of Energy and Mining, the ministry in charge of businesses such as this Banja Luka company, and they discussed current projects and the cooperation so far.
Stefanović said that the cooperation was good, but that there was still room for its improvement. At the meeting, they discussed possible modalities for future cooperation that would, according to Minister Stefanović, be important for the continuation of equipping the Serbian Armed Forces, and at the same time for further development of this company.
Petar Đokić, Republika Srpska’s Minister of Energy and Mining, emphasized that the cooperation between this company and the Republic of Serbia was of great importance for its functioning and development. He thanked Minister Stefanović for his visit to Republika Srpska and his readiness to discuss different forms of cooperation presented in the meeting.
Dušan Vještica, the Director of “Kosmos”, who acquainted Minister Stefanović with the capacities and production capabilities of this company, noted that 40 to 50 percent of this company’s income is generated through the cooperation with Serbia’s Ministry of Defence.
