Minister Stefanović visits the barracks where he performed military service
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited the “National Hero Janko Čmelik“ barracks in Novi Sad where he performed his military service.
Minister Stefanović was welcomed by the Commander of the First Army Brigade, Brigadier General Zoran Nasković, with whom he made a tour of the facilities within the barracks.
- I have nothing but fond memories of the days spent in military service – Minister Stefanović emphasized, recalling the days in the military and the responsibilities in the then 12th Signal Battalion.Minister of Defence also talked to officers and soldiers guarding the “National Hero Janko Čmelik” barracks, that are included in the Master Plan and that the Serbian Armed Forces have not used for a long time.
