Minister Vulin with our Participants of International Military Games in Russia
On the occasion of the closure of International Military Games, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, who is visiting the Russian Federation at the invitation of his Russian colleague General of the Army Sergey Shoygu, visited our participants of that largest world event of military glory and sports on the training area “Alabino” near Moscow.
Minister Vulin talked to members of military drivers’ team of the Serbian Armed Forces and congratulated “our golden drivers” who took the first place in individual race in 6x6 vehicles and who won the third place in the overall competition in the event “Military Rally” in Russian Republic of Tyva. He extended congratulations to our marksmen who participated in “Tank Biathlon” because they shot better than all other participants of the biathlon, and he congratulated participants of the National Culture Festival on successful presentation of culture and tradition of Serbia and its armed forces and on four rewards won in competition categories.
Colonel Dragiša Zinaja, leader of the military drivers’ team at the “Military Rally” and a referee at the competition, underlined that he was proud that the military drivers managed as a team to repeat last year result and won the third place “especially because we have taken the first place in the individual 6x6 vehicle race”.- This is a huge experience for our drivers, who, on a completely unknown terrain, with Russian navigation systems achieved excellent results. It is a good experience for improvement of our further training. I believe that they will claim even better result next year- said Colonel Zinaja.
Lieutenant Colonel Đole Kocka, team leader of the Ministry of Defence at the National Culture Festival stressed that our representatives had successfully and beautifully presented the culture and tradition of Serbia and our armed forces in last twenty days of the Festival.
- Members of the Artistic Ensemble “Stanislav Binički” were declared the laureates of the Festival for their performance of music numbers, while the members of CAA “Dimitrije Koturović” won the third place for their performance of dances from Serbia. I take this opportunity to thank the Russian armed forces and people on warm welcome and cordial greetings everywhere we went. They took countless photographs with our symbols, and countless photographs with us, the officers. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts - said Lieutenant Colonel Đole Kocka.After the meeting with our representatives who participate in International Military Games, Minister Vulin will attend the final race of tank crews from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Russia and China in the event “Tank Biathlon”, upon which he will have bilateral meetings with ministers of defence, and this evening he will attend a closing ceremony of International Military Games in the Patriot Park.
