Minister Vulin Receives Scroll of Honour from Association of Citizens “The First Military Police Battalion of the First Krajina Corps of the Republic of Srpska Army”
Today, President of Association of Citizens “The First Military Police Battalion of the First Krajina Corps of the Republic of Srpska Army” Radenko Puzić presented a scroll of honour and monograph of that Association to Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, in gratitude for the support to organisation and realisation of an exhibition dedicated to the war path of the First Military Police Battalion of the First Krajina Corps of the Republic of Srpska Army, exhibited in the Central Military Club in Belgrade, on 13th March this year.
- On behalf of all my fellow comrades I presented the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin with the scroll of honour and monograph about the war path of the First Military Police Battalion, for the engagement of the Ministry of Defence regarding the exhibition held in the Central Military Club on 13th March. It is the first exhibition about the war path of one military unit from the Republic of Srpska Army, which was presented in Belgrade. There we presented war photographs chronologically displayed from 1991 to 1995, exhibits from our fellow soldiers, and the exhibits that we had seized. According to my opinion, everyone who passed through the Central Military Club and visited the exhibition was pleased with what we had managed to preserve all these years. At the beginning we were sceptical, and we thought that it was not interesting, but later we realised that it was history, one large project that we carried out not only for the Military Police Battalion, but for the First Krajina Corps and the Army of the Republic of Srpska – Puzić said.
The scroll of honour was presented to Minister Vulin after today’s visit to the set where a documentary-feature film “Corridor 92” is being filmed. It is a coproduction project of the Ministry of Defence – Military Film Centre “Zastava Film”, Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Television of the Republic of Srpska, and it is currently being filmed in the surroundings of Vršac and it speaks about military operation “Corridor” which lasted from 28th June to 6th October 1992, owing to which the survival of the Republic of Srpska was ensured.
