Minister Vulin opens two new plants in “Trayal” in Kruševac
Today, the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, opened two new plants in the “Trayal" Corporation in Kruševac – for the production of rocket propellant strips and assembling non-electric detonators.
On that occasion, he pointed out that the political stability that President Aleksandar Vučić secured yields results in the economy and “that is why we have new investments and new plants and factories are being opened, as well as new jobs”.- The achieved political stability shows that only a stable state can grow economically. "Trayal" is a very important company for the entire Serbian Defence Industry and, of course, very important for the Ministry of Defence, whose strategic orientation has not changed since the time of Bratislav Gašić. We are doing the same thing that he did, we are trying to help the “Trayal” Corporation to develop, make progress and employ people, but also to develop technologically, so that it can meet the needs of the Serbian Armed Forces – Minister Vulin emphasized, adding that the Ministry of Defence will always buy primarily what domestic factories produce.
He also confirmed that the Ministry will help “as much as it can” with knowledge and transfer of technology, so that our companies and the defence industry can independently produce and supply the Serbian Armed Forces.
- “Trayal’s” job and the job of every company that deals with systems that can serve as weapons is, of course, to ensure economic sustainability, to employ as many people as possible, and to create conditions for higher earnings, but there is another reason for their existence, and that is to equip and arm the Serbian Armed Forces – the Minister of Defence pointed out and added that when they do that, they help preserve security of our entire country and supply the armed forces at prices which would be much higher on the world market.- So, when you see how much we equip and modernize our armed forces, you should know that it is done with far less money than if we didn’t have “Trayal” and the Serbian Defence Industry – the Minister of Defence pointed out, taking the opportunity to congratulate the CEO, Miloš Nenezić, on years of commitment and great successes, “because his company, which was once almost written off, turned into a respectable and pride-worthy company which makes profit and investments”. The Minister of Defence thanked all the employees of “Trayal” for their patience and hard work, and for the fact that the Serbian Armed Forces can feel secure because they have “Trayal” which will help them even in the most complex technological processes.
The CEO of the “Trayal” Corporation, Miloš Nenezić, pointed out that the two newly opened plants are important for the factory because in this way, “Trayal” becomes the only company in Europe that has a complete range of industrial explosives necessary for the above-ground and underground exploitation.
- As for the second plant, for the production of propellant strips, it is definitely a sign that the company has entered deep into military explosives, because it is a strategic product which will make Serbia stronger, and the Serbian Defence Industry will gain a firm foothold in a domestic manufacturer, which will enable "Trayal" to further develop and progress - said the director of the Kruševac giant, who thanked the workers for their dedicated work, as well as President Aleksandar Vučić "who gave great support to the company and believed in it", the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister Vulin "for his great contribution to the company" and the Serbian Armed Forces for decades of successful cooperation.The Mayor of Kruševac, Jasmina Palurović, expressed satisfaction with the opening of new plants and new jobs, which confirms that Kruševac is a good business environment, as she pointed out.
- There is a lot of work in the city, and the opening of new plants is an investment in the future and a message that those who want to find themselves have a place to do it, and that they can continue to work and live in our city.
At the end of today's visit, on behalf of all employees, the director of "Trayal", Miloš Nenezić, presented Minister Vulin with a Plaque, the highest recognition of that corporation.
The meeting between the Minister of Defence and the CEO of “Trayal” was also attended by the Head of Department for Defence Technologies, Major General Mladen Vuruna.
