Minister Vulin in Adaševci: Whoever tries to disrupt the order and not abide by the law will be stopped
In addition to all their regular duties, the Serbian Armed Forces are guarding 20 reception camps and migrant centres during the state of emergency, said the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin today while he was visiting members of the Serbian Armed Forces engaged in the tasks of securing a migrant reception centre in Adaševci.
He pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces act in a humane and responsible manner, above all respecting the law, the rules of service and taking care not to aggravate the situation in the camps in any way or put any of the citizens of Serbia in any danger.
- Migrants will be detained in their camps 24 hours a day, until a different decision is made and it will be made on the basis of a decision by the competent health authorities. Until then, the Serbian Armed Forces will keep the peace and security of every citizen of this country and will not hesitate to use all the available resources in accordance with the law and rules of service - emphasizes Minister Vulin.
- Members of the battalion carry out their tasks professionally and efficiently. There are no problems, and minor problems that occur in terms of migrants' attempts to leave the camp are effectively resolved - says Lieutenant Colonel Kužet, noting that the members of the battalion are currently faced with completely new duties, which they perceive as an opportunity to increase the operational capability of the battalion.
