Soldiers’ Training in Operating Devices from Telecommunication System
In Gornji Milanovac, the Signals and IT Training Centre has been carrying out for ten days now, individual specialist training in operating devices from telecommunication systems for soldiers serving voluntary military service of intake “September 2019” and “December 2019” and attenders of Reserve officers’ course. The training is frequented by soldiers trained for specialities of teleprinters, radio-teleprinters, radio-relay operators and telephone line operators.
Posting telecommunication centres and provision of safe and uninterrupted communication for commanding purposes is the basic function of the telecommunication service units. In this regard, the working points on which the training was conducted today included practice in touch-typing aimed at obtaining required speed of sending coded and open texts, familiarisation with radio devices in operational use in the Serbian Armed Forces units and practical work on training radio relay system crew in establishing a telecommunication station.Following the completion of the individual special training in the Signal and IT Training Centre which is to last until the end of February, the soldiers are going to be posted to the units of Serbian Armed Forces where they will have an opportunity to implement to acquired knowledge.
