State Secretary Živković meets Ambassador of Myanmar
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Aleksandar Živković has met today with Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Serbia Thurain Thant Zin.
State Secretary Živković expressed gratitude to Myanmar for supporting the territorial integrity of Serbia and efforts to find a solution for Kosovo and Metohija, and particularly emphasised Myanmar’s vote against the accession of the so-called “Kosovo” to the international organisations.The interlocutors agreed that the two sides share common values regarding freedom, independence, territorial integrity and peacekeeping, and see those values as the basis for the friendly relations between Serbia and Myanmar.
