Multinational Exercise “Cyber Tesla 2019”
The Command and Staff Exercise of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard “Cyber Tesla 2019”, whose theme is the defense of the telecommunications-information system against cyber threats, is taking place at the “Vojvoda Radomir Putnik” Barracks in Gornji Milanovac.
The goals of this year’s “Cyber Tesla” exercise are the building of military capabilities of the defense system and the National Center for Risk Prevention in ICT Systems of the Republic of Serbia (National CERT) to defend against cyber attacks and enhancing cooperation with the relevant subjects in the public and private sectors to protect the Republic of Serbia’s information space.
Exercise management from the IT and Telecommunications Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces emphasize that the exercise “Cyber Tesla” is important because its implementation upgrades the capacity to respond to incidents in cyberspace, improves coordination of bodies and institutions in charge of the information security, helps exchange experiences from the field of information security and promotes bilateral military cooperation.Since 2016, the “Cyber Tesla” exercise has been an ongoing annual activity within the framework of the State Partnership Program of Serbia and Ohio in the field of cyberspace protection. Representatives of the private and public sectors of our country dealing in activities in the field of information security also participate in the exercise.
