Minister Vulin: Serbian Armed Forces are Daily Trained
Today, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin attended a tactical exercise “Autumn 2019” which is being conducted in the area of Deliblatska Peščara by members of the Fifth Military Police Battalion.
Minister Vulin underlined that the Serbian Armed Forces conduct training of their members, every single day throughout the year during, and that they also prepare themselves and improve their combat readiness.
According to him, the Serbian Armed Forces equip their members every day.
- Every day, members of the Serbian Armed Forces are prepared to be capable of executing every order of their Supreme Commander, to execute every order of the state leadership and preserve peace, stability and security of our country, and of the Serbs wherever they live – Minister Vulin concluded.
- During today’s presentation, you had an opportunity to see the execution of tasks on a check point in combination with an ambush and other elements of securing defined areas and directions, which are observation posts, ambushes, signalling points and other elements. They demonstrated the activities at the check point in case when a person in a vehicle does not stop, the work of service dogs in attack of saboteurs, and attack against an individual from military police ambush, when they demonstrated how a saboteur can be caught without the use of cold steel but only by means of physical incapacitation. In the end, they demonstrated how an investigation is conducted on the site carried out by criminal technicians and officers for suppression of criminal activities – stressed Lieutenant Colonel Petrić.
As Lieutenant Colonel Petrić pointed out, members of the 72nd Reconnaissance-Commando Battalion from the Special Brigade participated in the exercise along with the members of the Fifth Battalion, and that was very significant in domain of exchange of experience for the purpose of raising the level of competence of those units’ members.
Today’s demonstration at the exercise “Autumn 2019” was also attended by Deputy Commander of the Army Brigadier General Vladeta Baltić and Head of Military Police Department General Rajko Milovanović.
