Display of arms and military equipment at the Nikinci testing ground

A two-day display and demonstration of arms and military equipment from local development was completed at the "Nikinci" training ground with live firing by members of delegations from partner countries, who were interested in getting acquainted with the technical and operational characteristics of these assets in more details.
On the first day of the demonstration at the Nikinci testing ground, the live fire was carried out with artillery rocket systems: modernised OGANJ multi-barrel rocket launcher, NORA-B52 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer and ALAS system, followed bz static display of the mentioned systems that performed shooting, as well as optoelectronic, radar, reconnaissance and command-information systems for support to the artillery, a new generation of artillery electronic lighters and 122 mm and 155 mm ammunition with extended range, unmanned aerial platforms and a family of unguided and guided missiles and other assets.

The real-time shooting was carried out very successfully, by hitting targets with ALAS guided missile, then by hitting targets from NORA howitzer and modernised OGANJ launchers using artillery unguided rockets with a range of 40 km and 20 km.

On the second day of the demonstration, targets were fired with a new family of anti-tank guided missiles with a thermobaric and tandem battle head, followed by firing at ground targets with PASARS short-range air defence system, as well as firing at targets from remote operated weapon stations 7.62/40 mm, MILOŠ unmanned remote-controlled vehicles and combat stations 12.7 mm of LAZAR-3 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier vehicle and MILOŠ armoured vehicle 4x4.

Special part of the demonstration with firing at targets was carried out by shooters with a new family of modern small weapons from the Zastava programme, equipped with modern sights including a video sight that enables safe shooting with automatic rifles behind the shelter.

In addition to the weapons that were used for firing, on the second day, the static display included a complete set of new ballistic equipment and Zastava NTV 1.4 t 4x4 off-road vehicle.

The display and demonstration of arms and military equipment from domestic development on the Nikinci testing ground was carried out very successfully, which is another proof that the Serbian defence industry and domestic brains represent a significant base for improving the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces as well as for strengthening the export references of our country.
