Meeting of Minister Vulin and Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic



 
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin met Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Lubomir Metnar at defence exhibition "IDEX 2019".
The ministers discussed the key issues of bilateral defence cooperation and agreed that there existed a possibility for its further enhancement. Minister Metnar said that he was impressed by the Serbian stand, and the quantity and diversity of arms and military equipment presented at the exhibition. Minister Vulin informed his Czech colleague about the fact that Serbian defence industry was still being developed and suggested expanding the cooperation to that segment as well, particularly to the field of joint projects for the world market.
 
Serbian minister of defence underlined that the attempt at creating “Armed Forces of Kosovo” conflicted with the international law and represented the greatest security problem in the region and underscored that in line with the Resolution 1244, Serbia perceived the KFOR as the sole armed formation in Kosovo and Metohija.
