Seminar of Military Psychologists on Stress and Resilience Management
State Secretary Aleksandar Živković opened a four-day long training for psychologists of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces titled “Training in Stress and Resilience Management”, and he highlighted that the Ministry of Defence appreciated the work of Psychology Section in all its segments.
The opening was also attended by Head of Personnel Department Colonel Siniša Kresović and Director of Directorate for European Integration and Project Management Colonel Katarina Štrbac PhD.
The aim of the workshop is to strengthen and complement the knowledge of military psychologists in the field of stress management during training with professional soldiers so that they could in their work with soldiers successfully achieve high performance, particularly in crisis situations.
Mirjana Veljković from Division for Development of Psychological Activity of the Ministry of Defence expressed her satisfaction with the fact that the training was organised and because of the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.
The workshop takes place under the auspice of NATO Programme Science for Peace and Security, and the lecturers came from faculties and military centres from Bulgaria and Hungary.
