Meeting between Živković and Starlinger
Aleksandar Živković, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, has met today with Major General Thomas Starlinger, Security Advisor of the Austrian Federal President, who is in the Republic of Serbia within the visit of the President of the Republic of Austria to our country.
Speaking about the reform of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia, State Secretary Živković updated the interlocutor about the developments in the process of drafting the National Security Strategy of the Republic of Serbia and the Defence Strategy of the Republic of Serbia. On this occasion, he stressed the need to intensify cooperation, especially in the areas of military education and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence, where significant results were achieved.General Starlinger expressed his satisfaction with the achieved level of defence cooperation with the Republic of Serbia and stressed the necessity of mutual engagement in further development, in the mutual interest.
