Handover of the Office of the Dean of University of Defence
Today, in the building of the Rectorate of the University of Defence, a ceremony was held on the occasion of handover of the office of the Dean of the University of Defence, with the attendance of the Dean’s Board.
By decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Major General Goran Radovanović PhD was appointed as the Dean of the University of Defence.Former Dean of the University of Defence, Major General Mladen Vuruna PhD, was appointed as the Head of Department for Defence Technologies of the Sector for Material Resources.
Addressing the present, General Vuruna wished success and soldier’s fortune to the new Dean, and underlined that the education had made a great journey in previous ten years, from the Military Academy to the University of Defence with two establishments of higher education, the Military Academy and Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, with accredited programmes of study.The newly appointed Dean of the University of Defence, Major General Goran Radovanović PhD underlined in his address that he was honoured to perform the duty of the Dean in the period to come, and to continue with the work on building and enhancing the military education in order to achieve everything that was expected in that field. General Radovanović expressed his gratitude to General Vuruna for a decade long contribution to building the military education and wished him a lot of success in his further work.
