Ministry of Defence signed Agreement with the Belgrade Taekwondo Association




 
The Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Belgrade Taekwondo Association was signed at the Directorate for Tradition, Standard and Veterans.
 
On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Agreement was signed by the head of the Directorate for Tradition, Standard and Veterans, Colonel Slađan Ristić, and on behalf of the Belgrade Taekwondo Association, its President Prof. Fadilj Eminović.
 
By this agreement, the Belgrade Taekwondo Association provided free enrolment and training for the children of employees of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, aged up to 16 years, in nine clubs of this association..
 
As the most important result of the signing of this document, Colonel Ristić and Professor Eminović emphasized contribution to the correct psycho-physical development of our children, especially considering burden for the home budget of parents that this type of recreation for children represents.
 
Colonel Ristić, on behalf of Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, thanked Professor Eminović and his associates for their support to the efforts of the Ministry of Defence to improve the standard of living for its employees.
 
Apart from organising city championships in all selections, the Belgrade Taekwondo Association also carries out numerous seminars conducted by eminent experts from the country and abroad. Taekwondo Association representatives emphasize, as particularly important, work with younger selections, or children. Taekwondo is an Olympic martial sport known for its fast, high and attractive leg kicks, originating in Korea, and today it is practiced worldwide as a sport, self-defence and recreation.
