2018 CISM European Conference
The 2018 CISM European Conference, attended by heads of delegations and delegates from more than 30 CISM member countries from Europe, is held from 18th to 21st September in Sofia, the Republic of Bulgaria. At the conference, the Republic of Serbia is represented by Brigadier General Siniša Radović, Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM.
At the conference, as planned, new heads of delegations of CISM member countries from Europe will be presented and the current decisions of CISM Board of Directors will be presented. Strategic goals and Business Plan of the European CISM Branch for 2019 will also be considered and the work of sports CISM commissions in the current year will be analysed. Participants in the conference will also discuss the organization and participation of European CISM member states in the 7th Military World Games in the People's Republic of China next year, as well as the nominations of the member states for the next 2023 World Winter Games and host of the 2020 CISM European Conference. Organisation of the 2019 CISM European Conference in the Republic of Armenia is also on the agenda.They will also discuss the possibilities of cooperation at the regional level and the organization of military sports events in the forthcoming period, as well as the continued organization of sports camps and joint preparations for international sports competitions. The organization of the 4th CISM World Winter Games in Germany in 2021 will be presented and the host country for the 2020 CISM European Conference will be selected.
