Sports meeting of the Serbian and Hungarian armies




 
The Sports Centre of the Serbian Football Association in Stara Pazova, today, was a venue for a friendly small football match between the officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hungarian Armed Forces.
 
The only goal in the match was scored by the deputy head of the Centre for Peace Operations, Colonel Nikola Dejanović, by which he led the Serbian Armed Forces team to victory.
 
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubiša Diković, and the Hungarian Armed Forces Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Gábor Makács watched the competition between the two armies from the stands.
 
The coach of the Serbian Armed Forces team was Commander of the Training Command, Lieutenant General Đokica Petrović, while the captain's arm band for our team was worn by the Chief of Staff of the Training Command, Brigadier General Dejan Janković.
 
The best player was declared member of the Hungarian team, Brigadier General Romulus Rusin, while the title of the best goalkeeper was taken by the Captain Navy Ljubiša Marković from the Department for Training and Doctrine.
 
Today's match, organized by the Operations Department and the Department for Training and Doctrine, is the sixth in a series of meetings between the two armies, and the next one, to be played on Hungarian ground, was announced for November.
