A new operating room opened at Niš Military Hospital
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin opened today a new operating room at the Niš Military Hospital.
According to Minister Vulin, investment in military health is an investment in the quality of life not only of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, but in the quality of life of every citizen of Serbia.
- All this is available to civilians and to every insured person. All this is a way to help creating a better life in Serbia, Minister Vulin concluded.
Niš Mayor Darko Bulatović expressed his satisfaction with this part of the reconstruction, as well as the announcement of the second phase of the reconstruction and equipping of the Niš Military Hospital.
- For our city, this type and level of health services and protection, which is provided primarily to members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, and then to the civilian population, is very important, and we as the City provide great support for all this, Bulatović said.
A part of the operating block in the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Niš Military Hospital, was adapted and arranged for an operating room for minimally invasive joint surgery. The operating room is equipped with a video arthroscope with accompanying sets for a certain type of joint reconstruction, with an X-ray apparatus included.
