Investment in the Serbian Armed Forces is an investment in the standard of every citizen
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin with his associates visited today the works that are performed at the Belgrade Military High School Dormitory.
According to Minister Vulin, all the works at the Military High School are carried out properly and he is pleased that our children and our students will be able to attend classes and live in the best possible conditions very soon.
He emphasized that by raising the quality of life of members of the Serbian Armed Forces, we raise the quality of life of every citizen of this country.
- I wish every parent to know that when they send us their children to the high school or academy, they will be educated, live and work in accordance with the highest possible standards. They will also have the best accommodation, the best food and the best professors and all the opportunities to get quality education, to advance and become proud of their military and their country. We continue to invest; this year we have allocated about 300 million dinars for the Military Academy, for the Military High School - only for this first phase - more than 30 million dinars has been allocated and there will be no shortage of money when it comes to the standard and quality of life of our children, Minister Vulin said.
Rector of the University of Defence, Major General Mladen Vuruna, expressed his satisfaction with the progress of construction and infrastructure works in the Military High School Dormitory.
Today's visit was attended also by State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Bojan Jocić, Commandant of the Military Academy, Colonel Miroslav Talijan, Head of the Military High School, Colonel Miroslav Gvozdenović, and Head of the Department for Infrastructure of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant Colonel Slobodan Starčević.
At the end of 2017, the Ministry of Defence started infrastructure works at the Military Academy, which includes renovation of the plateau for the lining up, the Sports Center, pistol range and the interior of the accommodation capacities in order to improve the living and working conditions of cadets and commanding officers at that higher education institution.
