Meeting of the Commission for the Preparation of Draft Housing Programme for the Members of Security Forces
Today, in the Government of Serbia a meeting was held of the Commission for the preparation of draft Housing Programme for the members of security sector which was chaired by the Prime Minister, Ana Brnabić.
The subject of the meeting was further work on the execution of the order by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vučić on housing construction for the members of security forces.
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin said that the construction of flats for the members of security forces was one of the key measures to better the financial situation of those who risk the most so that we could all feel safe in Serbia.
Draft Separate Law on Construction of Flats was presented which envisages the maximum price of these flats at the rate of 500 euros per square meter in Belgrade, and at the rate of 450 euros in the rest of Serbia.
The draft Law envisages that the national companies participate with 80 per cent in material, equipment and other and that the construction lasts around year and a half.
In the upcoming period, this legal solution will be under consideration in competent ministries, and the draft could be in from of the members of parliament as early as in March.
It was established at the meeting in the Government of Serbia than in more than 80 per cent of towns there is a need for flats for the members of the armed forces, police and security services, and that ten towns provided information that they had prepared the locations.
