Media Training for the MMA Managers
Department for Public Relations, supported by the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Belgrade, organised in Kovačica two day media training and crisis communication training for the members of the Military Medical Academy who are in managing duties.
Opening the training, Navy Captain Petar Bošković, Head of Public Relations Department emphasised the significance of the cooperation with media, particularly in an institution like the Military Medical Academy, which, owing to its professional work, enjoyed tremendous confidence of the citizens.
Colonel Simon Fitzgibbon, Defence Attaché of the United Kingdom said that it was a privilege to have such kind of training, since the good cooperation with media enabled better understanding of our daily work and of what we do the best.
The goal of the media training is to develop capacities of the medical personnel of the Military Medical Academy in the field of public relations and to improve the relations with media. A special focus will be placed on the enhancement of communication skills in crisis situations.
The media training is jointly carried out by experts of the Joint Centre for Public Relations of the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom and Department for Public Relations.
