Meeting of the Minister of Defence with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Juma Rashed Saif Zayed Aldhaheri, talked today about the enhancement of cooperation of the two countries in the field of defence.
Ambassador Aldhaheri conferred to the minister of defence of the Republic of Serbia an invitation from the Minister of State for Defence of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi Al Falasi to visit that country in the period to come, which Minister Vulin accepted with satisfaction.
In a cordial and friendly discussion, Minister Vulin pointed out that the Republic of Serbia is a reliable and sincere friend of the United Arab Emirates and confirmed the dedication to development and permanent strengthening of friendly and strategic relations.
The interlocutors established with satisfaction that the bilateral defence cooperation is ever more dynamic and comprehensive, which is testified by ever growing number of mutual high level visits, and a highly successful realisation of different kinds and levels of training.
Also, particularly pronounced is the fact that already developed military economic cooperation has been upgraded by other contents of defence bilateral cooperation, particularly by military to military cooperation activities, which directly contribute to strengthening operational and functional capabilities of the armed forces of the two countries.
