Minister Vulin meets with Ambassador Chepurin
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin spoke today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, Alexander Vasiljevich Chepurin.
Ambassador Chepurin conveyed the appreciation of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kuzhegetovich Shoigu, to President Vučić and Minister Vulin for the hospitality and high level of organization and celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade in World War II, as well as the demonstration of a part of the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces on 20th October this year. Also, Ambassador Chepurin emphasized the principled support of the Russian Federation to the current policy of the Republic of Serbia towards Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in the relations with the Republic of Srpska. He confirmed the continuation of military-technical assistance in accordance with the agreement between President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
Minister Vulin thanked for the support of the Russian Federation in the achievement of the foreign policy goals and priorities of the Republic of Serbia, and in particular on the consistent support and respect of the Serbian policy of military neutrality. Minister Vulin asked the ambassador to convey his gratitude to Minister Shoigu for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of defence.
