Minister of Defence with Ambassador of Pakistan
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin met today with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Syed Adil Gilani.
In an open and friendly conversation, they expressed mutual satisfaction with intensifying bilateral defence cooperation, with the focus on the military-economic and military-technical cooperation of the two countries.
The Pakistani side expressed interest in the possibilities of technology transfer and products of the Defence Industry of the Republic of Serbia, as well as in the modalities of joint investments into the development of projects in the field of production of weapons and military equipment.
Minister Vulin emphasized that companies of the Serbian Defence Industry are certainly open to cooperation and that the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia will endeavor to support that cooperation with its capacities.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Gilani handed out to the Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin invitation of the Federal Minister for Defence Production of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain to visit that country in 2018, which Minister Vulin gladly accepted.
