Support and assistance from the European Commission



Minister of Defence and the President of the Working Group for solving the problem of mixed migration flows, Aleksandar Vulin, met with EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides.
 
The meeting was also attended by Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs Zoran Đorđević, Refugee and Migration Commissioner Vladimir Cucić, Acting Assistant Minister for the Security Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Branimir Filipović, Secretary of the Red Cross Vesna Milenović and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
 
Minister Vulin once again thanked EU Commissioner Stylianides for the assistance and support that he personally and the European Commission provided to Serbia during the migration crisis.
 
Commissioner Stylianides stressed that the European Union highly appreciates the efforts of the Serbian Government in providing assistance to migrants and announced the continuation of the assistance.
