Minister Vulin received Iranian Deputy Defence Minister Kalantari
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin received the Deputy Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Nasrollah Kalantari.
Minister Vulin informed the interlocutors about the activities that the Ministry of Defence is implementing for the purpose of achieving the foreign policy goals of the Republic of Serbia. He emphasized that the Republic of Serbia based its defence policy on military neutrality, establishing cooperation with its partners in both the East and the West. He also emphasized the importance of regional cooperation, pointing out that economic prosperity is a condition for peace and stability in the region.
Minister Vulin conveyed the necessity of respecting the norms of international law and thanked the Iranian side for principled support for our legitimate efforts to preserve sovereignty in Kosovo and Metohija. He emphasized the danger of admitting the so-called "Kosovo" to international organisations, such as UNESCO and Interpol.
Acting Assistant Minister of Defence Milan Mojsilović has also had separate talks with the Deputy Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Nasrollah Kalantari where they discussed different issues and possible forms of future defence cooperation.
The Ambassador of Iran Hossein Molla Abdollahi attended the talks in the Ministry of Defence as well.
