Defence Minister signed the book of condolences at the Embassy of Iran
Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević signed the book of condolences which was opened at the Embassy of Iran on the occasion of the terrorist attack in the Parliament and the Museum of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Tehran.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and himself personally, Minister Đorđević expressed his condolences for the suffering of innocent people in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and wrote:
"We are deeply shaken by the news of a devastating attack that claimed innocent victims and reaffirmed that terrorism knows no boundaries, does not recognize any sacred things, and the value of human life the least. Therefore, our thoughts are with the Iranian people, especially with the families of the victims.
We share your grief, but also a willingness to find ourselves united at any time with that part of the world that is determined to uncompromisingly confront the greatest evil of our time."
