Meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Iran

Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has received today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Molla Abdollahi.

During the talks, Djordjevic thanked for the principled support of Iran in defence of the principles of international law and the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

The meeting concluded that there is a mutual interest in the improvement and intensification of bilateral defence cooperation, where military medicine and military education are key areas for the promotion of cooperation in the field of defence.
