Defense Minister at Patriarch Irinej’s
His Holiness, Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic talked today at the Patriarchate building on the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian Armed Forces are institutions that have traditionally enjoyed the greatest confidence of all citizens of Serbia, as it was emphasized during the meeting.
In a cordial conversation, it was stressed that cooperation between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces is very tight and fruitful.
The Serbian Patriarch and the defence minister stressed the importance of religious service in the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the good cooperation of the Armed Forces with all religious confessions.
