Making Decision on the extension of accreditation certificate for the Military Quality Control
Ceremony in the amphitheatre of the Military Technical Institute was attended by Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic, Acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradovic, representatives of the Accreditation Body of Serbia, the Serbian Defence Industry Group, SAF General Staff and Material Resources Sector of the Ministry of Defence.
Speaking about that institution, director Colonel Ivica Marjanovic, PhD, stressed that the mission and guiding principle of the Military Quality Control is product quality assurance at all stages of implementation, for the products purchased as final ones in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as the development programmes implemented by the MoD and SAF, in order to meet the challenges of the present and the future.
The first man of the Military Quality Control, handed the certificates to the Technical Overhaul Facilities Kragujevac and Cacak, factories ‘Prvi partisan AD Uzice’, ‘Prva petoletka – Namenska’, Trstenik, Zastava Arms, Kragujevac, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Nis, Institute ‘Mihajlo Pupin – Computer systems Beograd’, ‘Polyester Group’ Ltd, Priboj, YUMCO – Prizosi Ltd, Vranje, Industrial floors Ltd., Jagodina, ‘Slovo’, Belgrade, ‘Geomehanika Ltd’, Belgrade, ‘Geo-project SM’ , Sremska Mitrovica, ‘Dunav-orthopedic’ Ltd, Novi Sad and ISCO Ltd, Zrenjanin.
At the end of the ceremony, the first certificate with sign of the Accreditation Body of Serbia was awarded to the Milan Blagojevic factory from Lucani, because it offered logistic support to the Military Quality Control in terms of infrastructure security of locations for witnessing and surveillance performed by the representatives of the Accreditation Body of Serbia.
Military Quality Control started the certification process in 2013 to achieve the goal a year later. Thus, it ranked among the registered certification bodies of the Accreditation Body of Serbia with a right and license to carry out assessment of organizations through a third party, within the certified codes. Since the beginning of 2013 to date, the number of certified assessors for integrated management systems tripled.
