Premiere of documentary films in the Peacekeeping Operations Centre
Marking the Day of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre and preparing the fifth rotation of MoD and SAF personnel for participation in multinational operation MINUSCA in the Central African Republic, today in the Peacekeeping Operations Centre of Joint Operations Command were for the first time screened documentary films about participation of our members in multinational operation MINUSCA in the Central African Republic and UNIFIL in Lebanon.Attendees were greeted by Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre Colonel PhD Milivoje Pajović, who emphasized a great contribution of members of Serbian Armed Forces to peace in the world and a constant growth of number of UN and EU missions and our participants. A special value of the films is the fact they show real life and work of our soldiers in complex security conditions and multinational environment, which requires competence, sacrifice and professionalism in performing everyday tasks.
The premiere was attended by authors of the films – journalists Biljana Miljić and Vladimir Vještić from Media Centre Odbrana, cinematographers Sergeant Major Srđan Grčić and Žarko Pekez and film editors Dušan Milunović and Marko Dragišić from the Military Film Centre „Zastava Film”.
