New adventures of old acquaintances
In front of the full Hall of Sava Centre, tonight, a gala premiere of the film “Vojna akademija 3 – novi početak / Military Academy 3 – New Start” was held, in the production of Radio Television of Serbia and production company “Nira Pro” with the support of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.The old acquaintances from this series, with the assistance of new, younger colleagues and characters they play, made spectators laugh at their charm and humorous jokes and announced the continuation of the same TV series. As Sandra Perović, a journalist and film critic at Radio Television of Serbia and the host of this premiere, said, the film represents a social aspect of the society with the obligatory thesis that each young person has its own reasons, different from others, which influence them how to make serious decisions in life.
Jelisaveta Orašanin, an actress, said in her interview for Odbrana that all characters including hers, experience great changes. She also talked about the significance of the series for promotion of traditional values and a military profession:“The Army is a mirror of every country. Thus we tried to do this as best as we could. That can be seen by the series, which had great viewership and gave a contribution to popularization of a military profession. Moreover, after the first series, more candidates applied for military schools and entry exams than it used to be the case in the past. I believe that top military personnel who trained us gave a contribution to this, as well.”
The premiere was attended by Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević with associates, Head of the Military Academy General Major Goran Zeković, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and numerous citizens.
