Defence Minister receives Serbian Paralympic athletes
Nemanja Dimitrijevic, who won a bronze medal in the javelin throw, and whose father is Colonel Nenad Dimitrijevic, a professor at the Military Academy, as well as the retired members of the Serbian Armed Forces, Mitar Palikuca, table tennis player, who also won a bronze medal, and the selector of the national shooting team, Nenad Pajic, talked with Minister Djordjevic about their impressions from that world's biggest competition, from which the national team of our country returned with nine medals.
Congratulating them on the success, Minister Djordjevic also pointed out the grit and sporting spirit showed on that occasion. During the talks, they discussed the way to Rio de Janeiro, housing conditions of our Paralympic team as well as the impressions from the competition, and our paralympic athletes pointed out in unison that "when they win medals, all is well".
Our Paralympic athletes donated Minister Djordjevic, as a memory of today's meeting, shirt in the colours of the recently finished Olympics, and taking leave of our athletes, Defence Minister wished them much success in sports competitions, good health without injuries, but also a lot of sports luck.
After a well-deserved break, members of the Serbian Paralympic Team expect preparations for the World Cup that will be held in London next July, as well as numerous competitions at home and abroad.
