Defence Minister extends greetings on Personnel Service Day
I send my best wishes to all members of the Personnel Service as they celebrate 1st September – the day of the service.
On that day, based on the previous long experience in the work of personnel authorities – the personnel service in the Armed Forces and the experience of foreign armed forces, the so-called "personnel year" started. A system was established in which the most important activities and the largest number of results in the field of personnel management at all levels have been conducted and summarized to this date.
Personnel Service has a tradition of more than one and a half centuries. In our national history it has been paid special attention, as it was considered and is considered important for the construction of the Armed Forces.
In the past year, you confirmed that you are an important factor in the defence system capabilities in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. Due to the highly educated and professional personnel, good human resources, efficient and professional work, education and training of personnel you gave a full contribution to the preservation of the human resources in the defence system.
I am sure that you will professionally perform the assigned tasks and improve the work of this ministry. With the desire that you achieve successful results, which will contribute to the building of the Serbian Armed Forces and the defence system as a whole, I congratulate you on your holiday.
