Expressions of condolences to the Italian people
Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has signed today a book of condolence opened at the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Belgrade, for the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the central part of the country.The minister expressed his regret for the lost lives and added that the Serbian citizens are complicit in the pain of the relatives of the victims and the entire Italian people.
"Our thoughts are with the families of the victims in this grave tragedy. The citizens of Serbia know how much the words and deeds of solidarity mean and therefore we express our full support to the people and government of friendly Italy", Minister Djordjevic wrote.
State Secretary Nenad Neric also signed the book of condolence at the Italian Embassy.
